Enrollment at Kansas State University and Emporia State University has decreased over the past year while the numbers of The University of Kansas and Washburn University students have increased over the same time, officials at the Kansas Board of Regents announced Monday.
The total number of students reported on the 20th day of class within the state’s regents system stood at 182,690, up from 182,101 from the fall of 2015, an increase of 589 students or a .32 percent in growth.
