The Army has fired Fort Riley’s top officer, just days after he was suspended.
The Army on Monday said Maj. Gen. Wayne Grigsby had been relieved of command. The Army cited a “loss of confidence” in his ability to lead.
Grigsby had been in charge of Fort Riley for a little more than a year after assuming command. His tenure appeared, at least publicly, to be mostly noncontroversial.
