The two major party candidates for president are among the least liked in modern American history and Kansas congressional candidates are being forced to explain why they support them.
In the state’s 2nd District, Republican U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins is being challenged by Britani Potter, a Democratic school board member from Ottawa. Both candidates have sought to tie the other to their party’s nominee for president.
