Topekan and social media influencer Kia McClain will get the inside scoop on NASA’s upcoming journey to Mars Wednesday and Thursday in New Orleans.
McClain, co-owner of Shenomenon Corp., a digital marketing company, applied to be one of 100 people nationwide talking online about the Mars journey. In recent weeks, she found out that she was selected and would not only learn about the Mars event, but will watch the September launch of a shuttle that will land on an asteroid to collect samples.
