More sex trafficking victims are seeking help from the Topeka Rescue Mission so far this year than in all of 2015, executive director Barry Feaker said this week.
As of Wednesday, the number of victims approaching the mission for help was 31.1 percent higher than the total victims in all of 2015.
In 2015, 45 people were helped by the rescue mission. So far this year, 59 people — 58 women and one male — have sought help from Restore Hope, Feaker said.
