Osage County authorities have released the name of the man who was struck and killed by a train early Monday southeast of Quenemo.
The fatality victim was identified as Austin McWilliams, 18, of Lyndon.
Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn said Monday that Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad notified her office that a man was seen sitting on a bridge around 3:30 a.m. Monday near 269th and Stubbs Road.
Deputies who responded to the scene found the body of a man who had been struck by a train.
