A woman died and her passenger suffered injuries Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Sheridan County that also left the other driver hurt.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash occurred when a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 21-year-old Braden Bainter, of Hoxie, passed through a stop sign at the intersection of 60 N. Road and K-23 highway while eastbound on 60 N. Road. It collided with a 2000 Ford Windstar driven by Rochelle Mather, 59, of Clayton, as that vehicle headed north on K-23.
