Topeka theaters have three new offerings this weekend: two dramas and one play as far from a drama as you can get.
The dramas are Matthew Lopez’s “The Whipping Man” at Topeka Civic Theatre & Academy’s Oldfather Theatre and Washburn University Theatre’s production of Jeffrey Hatcher’s adaptation of the Henry James Gothic ghost story “The Turn of the Screw.”
And for those who need a good laugh, is ARTS Inc.’s production of Topeka’s longest running play, the “mellerdrama” “Dale Easton’s ‘The Drunkard’ ” in downtown Topeka at The Break ...
