LAWRENCE — Health officials say about 50 University of Kansas students have been screened for tuberculosis after a case was confirmed.
The Lawrence Journal-World (http://bit.ly/1Qjtf7v ) reports that the student with the confirmed case has started therapy. Watkins Health Services director and chief of staff Douglas Dechairo says the student will remain quarantined until he tests free of the disease.
