KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 60-year-old man who was fatally shot in 2012 while out for a morning jog.
Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced Tuesday that Craig L. Brown, 24, was charged in the death of Harry Stone of Raytown. Brown was being held on $200,000 bond after being taken into custody on Monday. Baker’s office said Brown has not yet obtained an attorney. His next court appearance is set for Feb. 24.
