Three people -- including a child -- were hospitalized Sunday afternoon when the sport utility vehicle they were in crashed and rolled in Jefferson County.
A fourth child in the vehicle escaped injury in the crash, which was reported at 1:20 p.m. at 94th and Meriden Road, three miles north of the town of Meriden.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe was southbound on Meriden Road and was traveling too fast for conditions.
