KANSAS CITY, Kan. — University of Kansas Hospital officials say they are already planning to expand a new patient tower, even before the structure is built.
Construction of the Cambridge North Patient Tower is underway in Kansas City, Kan. It is expected to open in 2017, with 92 beds and 12 operating rooms. The plan was to eventually add four more floors. The Hospital Authority Board recently voted to begin building the four new floors as soon as the main building opens.
