WICHITA — Kansas authorities have nominated five Kansas sites for the National Register of Historic Places.
The Wichita Eagle reports (http://bit.ly/1kZqAba ) that the Kansas Historic Sites Board of Review nominated five new places at a meeting earlier this month. Kansas has more than 1,300 listings on the National Register of Historic Places, which lists historically significant properties in the U.S.
