MANHATTAN — A district official says changing Manhattan High School’s Indians mascot could cost $318,000.
The Manhattan Mercury (http://bit.ly/2eRW1Br ) reports that Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 assistant superintendent Eric Reid prepared a cost estimate for the possibility of changing the mascot that some have said is disrespectful to Native American culture.
