The Kansas Republican Party sent postcards to voters proclaiming Topeka Rep. Ken Corbet’s opposition to settling Muslim refugees in Kansas and transferring terrorism suspects from Cuba to a federal prison in this state.
“I can assure you nobody is saying, ‘Could you pull some strings and get us some?’ I’ve not gotten any calls on that,” Corbet said.
