Portraying Lt. Kwazii, “The Octonauts’” daredevil cat with a mysterious pirate past, not only has given actor and dancer Kevin Perdido a steady paycheck as he tours the country with Octonauts Live!, it came in handy Sept. 19, which is International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
Perdido said he had no problem earning a dozen doughnuts when Krispy Kreme was giving them away on the unofficial holiday to customers who showed up dressed and talking like a pirate.
