Thousands of Kansans who submitted incomplete applications to vote may cast their ballots in local, state and federal elections this November by filling out a federal form — but they have just one week to do so, the League of Women Voters said.
Marge Ahrens, co-president of the League of Women Voters, is concerned those would-be voters may not know that following recent court decisions, they can use the federal voter registration application this fall without needing to provide proof of citizenship.
