Although Kansas Ballet’s past stagings of “The Nutcracker” have employed a tried-and-true recipe for satisfying audiences by featuring world-class dancers alongside top-notch local ballerinas, all performing to live orchestral music, the Topeka troupe’s 2015 production will feature some improved ingredients.
