Kansas is growing grayer day by day.
The 155-year-old state is home to about 2.9 million people, of whom more than one half-million are over age 60, statistics from the Administration on Aging indicate. The U.S. Census Bureau predicts nearly 25 percent of the state’s population will be over age 60 by 2030.
