The Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes recently awarded several Topeka-area students with prize money for their documentaries about historical figures whose impact haven’t received widespread recognition.
This year’s Milken Discovery $2,000 second place prize was awarded to Jeremy Wells and Natalie Brodine, seniors in Susan Sittenauer’s history class at Seaman High School.
