Fewer Mexicans drive changes in U.S. immigrant population

SAN DIEGO — The number of immigrants in the U.S. illegally has changed little since the Great Recession began, dropping to 11.1 million in 2014 from 11.2 million in 2012 and 11.3 million in 2009, according to a study released Tuesday by Pew Research Center (http://pewrsr.ch/2dh78XI ).
