EDSON, Kan. — The Kansas Highway Patrol says a trooper shot a man who was armed with a machete in northwest Kansas.
The patrol was notified around 8:10 a.m. Friday that a man standing near a vehicle on Interstate 70 at milepost 29 eastbound in Sherman County armed with a baseball bat or machete.
