HOLTON — Two-year-old Romeo Whitebird’s joys are simple.
He lies in a banana-shaped bouncer-rocker on the floor of his home in Holton listening to Christmas tunes and softly strummed guitar music. Sometimes he crosses a foot over a knee, makes cooing noises, balls up his hands into fists and stretches.
Romeo likes to be tickled and to hear someone talk to him. He likes the sounds of rattles as well as the bells attached to bracelets on his wrists and ankles.
