The last of four juveniles charged with the armed robbery in 2015 of the Academy Sports + Outdoors business in Topeka pleaded guilty on Wednesday to three felonies.
Defendant Joshua Weaver, 18, said “guilty” three times in his pleas to one count of aggravated robbery and two counts of aggravated assault. As part of the plea agreement, the other 12 charges were dismissed by Shawnee County District Judge Joseph Johnson, who handles juvenile criminal cases.
