ELLIS, Kan. — The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded a small earthquake in north central Kansas.
The USGS says the 3.5 magnitude earthquake was felt Wednesday afternoon in Ellis County. The earthquake was centered 4.3 miles north of Ellis.
Hays Post reports (http://bit.ly/2cNZUam ) no damage or injuries were reported.
The agency says a quake of 3.5 magnitude causes weak to light shaking.
