The son of Haskell University president Venida Chenault will no longer serve in one of his two high-level positions at the school, according to an internal email obtained by the Topeka Capital-Journal.
The change isn’t allaying concerns of Haskell employees who believe his influence there runs afoul of federal anti-nepotism rules.
“It’s just an email,” American Indian Studies professor Theresa Milk said. “That’s still not solving the problem.”
