HUTCHINSON — The Kansas State Fair has gone to the dogs — at least, it has for this year’s featured free performance.

Jump! The Ultimate Dog Show is attracting standing-room-only crowds three times a day — 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. — to Gottschalk Park on the grounds of the state fair, which this year turned 103 years old. (That’s 721 in dog years.)

During the half-hour show, trainer Lou Mack, whose real name is Lou McCammon, lets his pack of clever canines show off.
