A Melvern man was injured Tuesday afternoon after he lost control of his sport utility vehicle in Osage County, authorities said.
The injured man, identified as Clayton S. Carter, 40, was taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Carter was driving a 1992 Chevrolete Suburban east on K-68 highway, about 1.7 miles east of US-75 highway, when the SUV drifted off onto the south shoulder.
