Topeka Performing Arts Center patrons will get a chance to relive a night of rock ’n’ roll joy that preceded the sadness of “The Day the Music Died.”
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for a 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 performance of John Mueller’s “Winter Dance Party” at TPAC, 214 S.E. 8th.
The musical revue, tickets to which are $52, $33 and $28, not including any applicable taxes or fees, recreates one of the Midwest concert tour stops that featured Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson.
