A group that promotes education related to transgender issues is inviting Kansans to pick from more than two dozens workshops related to the topic at its annual conference this week.
This year’s Kansas Statewide Transgender Education Project (K-STEP) conference will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Topeka, 4775 S.W. 21st St., on Friday and Saturday, marking the first time the event will take place in the state capital. The past three annual conferences were in Lawrence, Wichita and Manhattan.
