A 14-year-old student at Emporia High School was taken into custody Wednesday morning in connection with a bomb threat at the school, which was under heightened security while the case was investigated.
Deputy Emporia Police Chief Edward P. Owens said witnesses were able to identify the youth, who was taken into custody and interviewed by both EHS administration and Emporia police detectives.
