KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The former owner of two Missouri daycare businesses has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for failing to pay about $890,000 in taxes.

The office of the U.S. attorney for the western District of Missouri says 47-year-old Lynn Jordan of Parkville was sentenced Friday to two years in prison without parole for failing to pay $891,572 in payroll and other taxes.
