The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) urged all Topeka area drivers to observe the reduced speed limit on Interstate 70 as repair and resurfacing work continues until late fall.
“You must drive 55 miles-per-hour posted work-zone speed limit on eastbound and westbound I-70 in Topeka,” said Kim Qualls, KDOT media contact, in a news release. “The work zone speed limit is in place 24-7, around the clock, through the project’s completion.”
