Four are dead in the Perry area after a two vehicle head-on collision.
Jefferson County Sheriff Jeffrey Herrig said in a phone interview that a Ford Ranger pickup truck collided with a Ford Windstar minivan on U.S. Highway 24 on Sunday afternoon.
The driver of the pickup died along with three members of a family of five in the minivan. The mother and father of three children in the van died along with one of the children. The two other children have been taken to area hospitals with severe injures.
