A judge on Friday rescheduled the preliminary hearing for a man charged with aggravated human trafficking and 17 other felonies after a defense attorney said he had 10,000 prosecution documents to read before the hearing.
The two-day preliminary hearing of Anthony Samuel Long, 27, will be Nov. 9 and 10 — an unusually lengthy proceeding. Even in homicide cases, a preliminary hearing in Shawnee County District Court usually takes no longer than several hours or one day.
