Congressional candidate Roger Marshall on Thursday asked the state’s elections board to remove the name of his opponent, U.S. Rep. Tim Huelskamp, from the Aug. 2 primary ballot, alleging Huelskamp has failed to prove he is a resident of Kansas.
The Kansas Secretary of State’s Office, however, disagreed. Bryan Caskey, the state’s elections director, said his office has verified Huelskamp is a resident of the state.
