The Kansas Supreme Court on Friday upheld the conviction but vacated the “Hard 50” life sentence of a Saline County man for the July 2010 murder of his wife.
The court ordered a Saline County District Court to resentence Davin Sprague, a rural Salina man convicted in September 2011 of premeditated first-degree murder in the killing of Kandi Sprague, who was in the process of trying to leave her husband.
