A man convicted of manslaughter tied to an Oct. 10 shooting death was to be sentenced Friday, but uncertainty about how to calculate past convictions when he was 15 caused postponement.
Depending on how the criminal history of Daris Laron Holliday is counted, he could be sentenced to as much as eight years and six months or as little as six years.
On April 11, Holliday, 26, pleaded guilty to a charge of voluntary manslaughter in the slaying of Keith Leon Reed, 43.
