Gov. Sam Brownback on Thursday ordered flags in Kansas to be flown at half-staff to honor victims of the shootings in San Bernardino, Calif.
The flags are to be at half-staff from sunrise to sundown through Monday, Dec. 7, on Pearl Harbor Day.
The White House on Thursday issued a proclamation for flags across the nation to remain lowered through Dec. 7 and returned to full staff at midnight Tuesday, Dec. 8.
