MEDICINE LODGE — Two people have been injured in a single-engine plane crash in Barber County.
Barber County Sheriff Justin Rugg says the plane went down east of Medicine Lodge on Wednesday around 4:55 p.m.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash occurred as the pilot was trying to land the plane. The pilot attempted to pull back when part of the plane caught a fence. It flipped and came to a rest on its top.
