A well-meaning motorist injured as he helped a stalled driver isn’t entitled to compensation from that driver, the Kansas Court of Appeals ruled Friday.
Natalie Marquez was stopped at a red light Dec. 13, 2011, in Manhattan when her car ran out of gas. Another driver, Kenyon Erickson, noticed Marquez’s flashing hazard lights and stopped to help.
