AUBURN — Because Mother’s Day was in the middle of this time slot on Auburn Community Theater’s season calendar, artistic director Bert Miller said, “We wanted to offer some plays that were for mothers.”
Billed as “Two for the Show,” the small-town community theater selected two one-act plays, one a comedy, Mary Fournier Bill’s “An Infinite Deal of Nothing,” the other a drama, “A Candle on the Table” by Patricia Clapp.”
But both, Miller said, have in common that “they focus on women’s perceptions of the world around them.”
