This weekend, Washburn University will mark a decade of celebrating Asian cinematic creatures including the atomic ray-blasting Godzilla, the fireball-breathing, flying turtle Gamera and a panoply of other giant monsters at the 10th Godzilla & Friends Festival.
The free festival again will include screenings of movies, expert presentations about films’ cultural significance and family-friendly activities, such as a Godzilla roar contests, coloring contest and prize drawings.
