A Manhattan couple was killed in a two-vehicle crash April 7 in Geary County.
Ronald Montgomery, 81, and Marlene Montgomery, 78, were exiting Interstate 70, about a mile east of Marshall Airfield, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol’s crash log.
Kevin Runions, 27, of Lincoln, Neb., ran a stop sign at Highway K-18 and struck the Montgomery vehicle, which had the right of way.
Runions is a soldier stationed at Fort Riley, according to a statement from the Army base.
