WICHITA — A Wichita police lieutenant is charged in federal court with making fraudulent reports so she would be paid for working a part-time job while on duty.
Forty-year-old Heather D. Bachman faces seven wire-fraud counts and one count of making a false statement to a federal investigator.
The indictment accuses Bachman of defrauding the Wichita Police Department by working part time for Orion Security Services while on duty and being paid by the department.
