To cut prostitution in Sweden, that country focuses its prosecution on the customers of commercial sex, commonly called “the johns,” a Washburn University professor said this week.
Professor Sharon L. Sullivan, who teaches a class about sex trafficking, spoke on March 22 at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York City. It was her third appearance at the UN commission.
