KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has received a leadership award named after President Harry S. Truman.
The Kansas City Star (http://bit.ly/1VDFNNq ) reports that Kissinger said Thursday that he admired how Truman had led the U.S. to “totally defeat” Germany and Japan but then included them in the community of nations. Kissinger called it a “noble sentiment.”
