A 30-year-old Topeka man convicted in the kidnapping and multiple rapes of an 8-year-old girl will be sentenced later this month after a judge last week denied defense motions for a new trial.
Following a two-week jury trial, Jeremy James Lindsey was convicted of three counts of rape, two counts of aggravated burglary and one count each of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated endangerment of the child, felony criminal damage to property and an unlawful drug administration count.
