Miles Dixon, 2, walked into a bakery for his Saturday doughnut and walked out with an early lesson in giving kindness to others.
Miles and his mother, Hailey Dixon — both dressed in University of Kansas attire — had stopped at Baker’s Dozen, 4310 S.W. 21st, for the youngster’s doughnut and some doughnut holes.
But employees of Midland Care told them about Kindness Challenge, a program to encourage people to continue a chain of kindness.
