Mark Stuart, who makes his Topeka debut Saturday night at a Last Minute Folk concert, went to music school in Nashville’s nightclubs and honkytonks.
Stuart, who will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Topeka, 4751 S.W. 21st, grew up admiring his uncle’s guitar playing and his father’s fiddling, and listening to Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, John Fogerty, the Beatles and many more players and singers of all genres.
